UFC lightweight Din Thomas recently was a guest on BetUS Sportsbook Radio, and had the following to say on recent steroid controversies in MMA.

“Are these guys retarded? You’ve got to know that you’re going to get tested, you know what I’m saying? I think it’s kind of embarrassing for those guys man…For the longest time everybody’s been accusing Sherk of being on steroids and he’d always be like, “No, no, no I don’t do it,” And then what happens when he gets tested? He gets popped for it you know. So for me it’s like, man that’s so embarrassing…These guys need to cut this nonsense out, play by the rules. I don’t know man, these guys are just retarded. I don’t know.”

“It’s detrimental to the sport in a sense, because we’re at the stage where we’re trying to prove to be a legitimate sport, and the champ gets caught and then the number one contender gets caught using steroids. So it just kind of a slap in the face for all of us…Dana White if you’re listening out there man, if you want a guy who ain’t going to get tested positive man, put me up in the race. I’m here man and I’ll pass any test, I’ll piss right now.”
