While not enjoying the company of Matt Serra, and being on the receiving end of much negative comments from him, Matt Hughes still asserts he didn’t let that impact his coaching on The Ultimate Fighter 6. He told the LA Times:

“Matt and I don’t like each other,” Hughes said. “But we didn’t get into any fights. I wasn’t going to let the fact we are fighting affect me as a coach. As far as I was concerned, he wasn’t there. If he said anything I didn’t like, I let it roll off my shoulders.”
