While an elated O2 arena celebrated the decision victory of Michael Bisping over Matt Hamill, many MMA fans were dismayed by the judges siding with Bisping in the fight.  Coming out aggressively with strikes and takedowns in the first two rounds, many felt Hamill won the first 2 stanzas of the bout. Bisping came into his own in the third round, landing effective striking. In the end, two of the three judges gave Bisping the nod in the fight to make him victorious via split decision. Bisping himself looked dismayed at the end of round 2 and as the fight ended, wondering what would be the results of the closely contested fight. Hamill showed tremendous class after the bout, noting that Bisping beat him fair and square. While he asserted he felt he won the battle, Hamill was extremely humble and gracious in defeat.
