Well, I’m 1-2 for my picks for Saturday night. Tim fought a tough opponent with a good game plan, but the big guy came out on top. Brandon did well, he was just undersized and under-experienced. My man Rich didn’t do as well as I was hoping, as most of you probably know Rich is a very close friend of mine and watching that fight was hard to do. Sometimes you just feel helpless on the outside of the octagon and that’s how I felt during Rich’s fight. Another teammate of mine, Jason Black, also lost in the prelims, so not a good night for friends’ fights; but I still had a great time watching the fights with my wife. Robbie Lawler sat next to us and Jens Pulver (”Ketchup-Head”) was there too, so we got to catch up. Also got to see Brock Lesnar again, we haven’t seen each other in several months, so it was good to chat with him again. As you probably already know, he’s going to be fighting in the UFC as well.
