Attempted robbery against UFC vet Steve Jennum

Nebraska policeman and winner of UFC 3, Steve Jennum, was attacked in an attempted robbery today in Omaha. The following is from the Omaha World Herald:
A 20-year-old man was arrested early today after he was accused in an attempted robbery of an off-duty Omaha police officer in a southwest Omaha parking lot.
The officer, Steve Jennum, said he was outside his car just after midnight at the Baker’s at 136th and Q Streets when a man came up behind him and tried to hit him with a bottle. Jennum avoided being hit and the man fled, getting into a white car occupied by two people.
Jennum ended an effort to stop the car when a person in it pulled a knife.
Jennum found the car in a parking lot of 13184 D Plaza. When officers made contact with someone at the address registered for the car, they found a man who was identified as one of those who took part in the attempted robbery.
He was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to a felony.
A similar incident occurred about 1:35 a.m. Monday, when a woman in the parking lot of the Walgreens near 132nd Street and West Center Road was hit in the head by a bottle. The robber stole her purse, car keys and the merchandise she had purchased. The robber got into a white, four-door sedan occupied by two people.
