Tim Sylvia announced on his website he’ll be fighting February 2nd at UFC 81. ” Just found out I’m fighting February 2nd, on the Super Bowl show in Las Vegas. I can’t say who I’m fighting yet, but I’ll let you all know as soon as I can”, noted Sylvia. “Deer season went really well. I’m back in training now, been training for the last three weeks.”

Speculation has been a fight with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Sylvia is booked for the event. The other marquee matchup for the UFC 81 card is Frank Mir versus Brock Lesnar, in Lesnar’s UFC debut.
