Jason Mayhem Miller on his partnership with Airwalk

Tell us about your partnership with Airwalk   Let’s not even call it a partnership, shall we? Let’s call it a brotherhood. A brotherhood of the travelling pants, if you will. Because now I’m working with Airwalk, and Airwalk selected me, even though they have all the choices…

Brock Lesnar would beat Mir, lose to Nogueira

Posted 17 Nov 2008 in Brock Lesnar,Frank Mir

The winner of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Frank Mir will take on Brock Lesnar to unify the heavyweight title. Here’s how the fights would go down:

versus Mir:

Coming in for revenge Lesnar would not make the same mistake again–rushing to finishing the fight on the ground. Mir certainly can catch Lesnar again because he is a BJJ wizard and Lesnar a BJJ beginner. But the ground and pound of Lesnar as well as his strength should allow him to be safe enough to survive submissions on the ground. At some point on the ground or feet a TKO should occur in Lesnar’s favor.

versus Nog:

Nogueira can take a beating from fighters as big as they come, like Bob Sapp, who beat him on every side of the ring in their battle in Pride years ago. Nog might be due to be taken out via TKO, but his excellent boxing and submission skills should allow him to prevail. What will be a key ingredient is his endurance and heart. Couture is great but Nog’s ability to endure a severe thrashing is second to none at heavyweight. In the end skill in all realms of the game will prevail and the more well rounded fighter will win–Nogueira.
