CB Dolloway, who was armbarred last night in The Ultimate Finale versus Amir Sadollah, was confused as to how many taps equals a submission. “I was definitely thinking about tapping,” he said after the bout. “I did hit it once, but I thought the rule was you had to do it (more than once). Just as I hit once, I felt that I was in a position where I could get my arm out.”
Nonetheless the bout was stopped and Sadollah won the 6 figure contract.

Dana White admits he wasn’t overly impressed with Amir Sadollah when he initially witnessed him on the reality series, but sure has changed his mind now.”He’s the one that I didn’t think would make it to the end. I kind of doubted Amir,” acknowledged White to the Canadian Press. “I didn’t see it in the beginning, man, but let me tell you it’s unbelievable how much I was wrong.” It was a similar case on The Ultimate Fighter 2, with eventual heavyweight winner from the program, Rashad Evans, whom White originally doubted. “And I’ve done that before. I doubted Rashad Evans. I didn’t think Rashad Evans had the work ethic or the drive or the talent or anything and then he completely proved me wrong. And look at him now.”

After 6 grueling weeks in The Ultimate Fighter house, and fighting another fight after the show to get into the finale, CB Dollaway is looking to make the most of his golden opportunity tonight against Amir Sadollah at The Ultimate Fighter finale “It’s kind of like my lotto ticket,” Dollaway said to the Arizona Republic. “It will change my life and I can go on to do great things.”
From CagePotato.com:
“I believe I took care of the mistakes I made in the first match. I think it should be a similar fight, but with me winning at the end. He’s a hard competitor to finish — I already know that from fighting him once — so I’ve taken measures to make sure I’ll be in great condition.”
