UFC looking to enter Philippines; Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Russia afterwards
“We hope to use the Philippines as a launching pad for all of Southeast Asia, and the way to do it is by bringing the UFC to Manila,” said Lorenzo Fertitta during a media briefing at the Manila Peninsula in Makati City yesterday. Chuck Liddell also attended the media briefing .
The UFC also plans to expand in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Russia in the near future.
UFC pursuing Germany, Australia, Brazil, the Philippines, Dubai and Mexico
In an interview with MMA Stomping Grounds, Dana White noted the following:
“I’m working on getting stuff done in Canada, working down in Mexico, working on stuff in the UK, Germany, Australia, Brazil, the Philippines, Dubai.”
UFC eyeing Germany and Phillipines
In a recent conference call with UFC president Dana White, he noted the next countries they are looking to explore are Germany and the Philippines.
