French fighter Bendy Casimir duked it out with Ricardo Lamas in March 2010 at WEC 47 in Columbus, Ohio. 3:43 into the contest Lamas uncorked a big left flying knee that not only sent Bendy’s mouthpiece flying but ended the fight instantly.

Ricardo Lamas has quietly slid himself into becoming a top contender at featherweight in the UFC. But when you look at some of his finishes they are anything but soft-spoken. Lamas’ top finishes show a very diverse range of attack which includes flying knees, arm-triangles, headkicks and big punches on the feet, guillotines, and vicious ground and pound. 2. TKO in UFC debut
In June 2011, Ricardo Lamas’ UFC and featherweight debut went extremely well. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania fans were treated to a first round TKO as Lamas took over four minutes into the contest. Lamas landed a left head kick that hurt Grice, stopped a takedown attempt, landed a big left kick to the body, dropped Grice with a powerful right hand, sprawled nicely to avoid a takedown and finished the fight with a left on the ground.
3. Arm-triangle choke against Cub Swanson
Ricardo Lamas picked up his 11th win in mixed martial arts in November 2011 against Cub Swanson. In front of the fans in Anaheim, California, Lamas saw an opportunity on the ground to sink in an arm-triangle choke and showed some solid killer instinct in going for it and landed the submission 2:26 into the second round.
4. Ground and pound against Erik Koch
Ricardo Lamas became the featherweight ground and pound king after opening up Erik Koch with strikes on the ground and then just sending down a barrage of elbows and punches to end their fight at UFC on Fox: Johnson vs. Dodson.
5. MMA debut
Ricardo Lamas picked up his first victory in mixed martial arts in January 2008. He took on Jake Corry in Northlake, Illinois, and as Corry reached in for a takedown, Lamas dropped down for a guillotine which ended the fight 1:49 into the contest.
