MMAjunkie reports this battle of UFC heavyweights is in the works. I’ve got to go with Velasquez on this one due to the superior ground game. Carwin has dynamite in his hands but Velasquez seems to be able to take a punch and dominate fighters on the mat. Granted Cheick Kongo, who Velasquez recently defeated, is not the best ground fighter, the pressure, aggression and technique Velasquez used to take down and ground and pound Kongo was quite impressive.
